Chalet d’Este
A luxurious alpine "home from home" in beautiful Verbier
This recently built chalet is constructed from beautiful old wood and stone, stylishly decorated with an eclectic mix of the traditional and the modern. Furnished with an emphasis on comfort and quality, the décor features B&B Italia sofas, Le Corbusier chaises longues, fine rugs, high-quality mattresses appointed with goose down bedding and five-star Italian bed linens. These features are complemented by personal touches such as alpine pictures, family antiques and bespoke hide covered chairs that add an alpine touch.
The chalet accommodates 6 adults and 4 children in 4 bedrooms with en suite facilities (see Layout Section for more details). The chalet also offers a cosy cinema room with a Bose media system and a projector screen along with two comfortable sofas which can be converted to beds for any unexpected guests.
On the ground floor, the elegant dining area opens to the upper terrace, which has sofas from which guests can enjoy the beautiful views and the upper garden which is furnished for al fresco dining and has also a barbeque. There is also an outdoor Jacuzzi on the lower ground terrace, next to the chalet’s lower garden, where guests can relax after a day’s skiing or a long summer hike.
About Verbier
Verbier is the main resort in Switzerland’s largest ski area, the 4Vallées and it has over 400 km of slopes suitable for all abilities, with extensive off-piste skiing and lift system. Thanks to its wonderful combination of excellent skiing, exciting après ski and nightlife, exclusive shops and restaurants, it has long attracted both families and a younger international crowd who return year after year. Verbier is in easy reach of Geneva airport – about two hours by car or two and a half hours by train from Geneva airport.
Chalet d’Este is in the heart of this superb ski area – in good conditions expert skiers can ski straight down from the Savoleyres area and right up to the front door. The chalet itself is located in a quiet spot, just a few minutes from the ski bus stop and sports centre and within walking distance of the main Medran lift and the resort’s town centre (10 minutes). During the summer season in Verbier, hiking and mountain biking, music and equestrian festivals provide an interesting change of pace.
